2. User Responsibility
As the account owner, you are responsible for any violations of this AUP by anyone using your account with or without your authorization. This includes your users and any activities conducted on your behalf. Assisting others in activities that would violate this AUP if performed by you is also a violation.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the services for any unlawful, abusive, or restricted purpose, including but not limited to:
- Engaging in or promoting illegal activities, including sharing content deemed unlawful by a court of competent jurisdiction.
- Conducting deceptive or harmful activities, such as promoting fraudulent goods, schemes, or misleading practices (e.g., pyramid schemes, phishing, or impersonating others).
- Violating intellectual property or proprietary rights, including content aimed at circumventing protections on such rights.
- Publishing pornography or adult content, including videos and images.
- Inciting or threatening violence, promoting terrorism, or content intended to harass, abuse, or invade the privacy of any individual.
- Unlawfully selling or distributing controlled substances, including illegal or prescription drugs.
- Distributing harmful software or technology, including viruses, malware, or spyware.
- Unauthorized system access, including probing or testing security measures or attempting to breach systems.
- Using misleading IP packet headers or email headers.
- Disrupting system operations, including mail bombing, flooding, or denial-of-service attacks.
- Operating open proxies, open mail relays, Tor exit nodes, or similar network services.
- Bypassing usage limitations, such as access limits or storage restrictions.
- Concealing identity or contact information through omissions, deletions, forgery, or misreporting of transmission or identification data.
- Cryptocurrency mining without explicit written permission.
- Sending or facilitating unsolicited mass emails or other messages (“spam”).
4. Compliance with Trade and Economic Sanctions
Our services are subject to trade and economic sanctions maintained by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the European Union, and EU Member States. By accessing our services, you agree to comply with these laws. You represent that you are not located in a restricted country (e.g., Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea region of Ukraine) or on any U.S. list of prohibited parties (e.g., SDN List or SSI List). You agree not to sell, export, or re-export any service in violation of these laws. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account.
5. Investigation and Enforcement
We reserve the right, though we are not obligated, to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP or misuse of our services. We may report suspected illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement officials, regulators, or other relevant third parties. This may include disclosing, reviewing, and preserving user information consistent with applicable law. We may also cooperate with law enforcement to investigate illegal conduct by sharing relevant network and system information.
If we determine, at our discretion, that you have violated this AUP, we may take actions, including removing or disabling access to content, suspending or terminating your use of the services, and blocking content or traffic. Our right to take these actions applies even if the violation was committed unintentionally or without your authorization. This right is discretionary and may be exercised at any time.
